At one point, 3,200 workers supposedly helped with the Underground Railroad, and approximately 100,000 slaves were helped to freedom. Beloved is a 1987 novel by the American writer.

Halle works to buy her freedom, after which she travels to Cincinnati and establishes herself as a respected leader in the community. Denver edit Denver is the only child of Sethe who is truly present in the novel. Lacking mother love herself, Sethe sets out to heal her wounds by being a perfect mother. The main characters and all the members of the black community in Cincinnati are haunted by the traumas of slavery and racism. Still today, much of white America labels the black populace as lesser human beings. Morrison wants readers to subtly evoke these images each time they read a word or sentence that includes some form of metal. Morrison said she was extremely moved by the memorial. In 1992, Morrison published the novel. She lives in the house named 124 (a house on 124 Bluestone. Trunk, branches, and even leaves (16). Numerous reviews, assuming Beloved to be a supernatural incarnation of Sethes daughter, have subsequently faulted Beloved as an unconvincing and confusing ghost story. When Paul D asks Sethe about it, she tells him what happened: After escaping from Sweet Home and reaching her waiting children at her mother-in-law's home, Sethe was found by her master, who attempted to reclaim her and her children.
